Welcome to lifeslittlecorner.com (the “Site”), operated by Murshed Abdullah Al Hussain, doing business as Life’s Little Corner (“we,” “us,” “our”), publishing the works of M. A. A. Hussain. By accessing or using the Site, subscribing to our newsletter, or otherwise interacting with our content, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area), or that you have parental or guardian consent to use the Site. You agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Use of the Site

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works of any content on the Site without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law
  • Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access the Site, except for legitimate search engine indexing
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or networks connected to the Site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, including other users’ accounts
  • Use the Site to transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Harvest or collect information about other users without their consent

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Our content. All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, software, the Shattered Crown trilogy, the AI Novelist brand, the Life’s Little Corner brand, and all other published works by M. A. A. Hussain — is the property of Murshed Abdullah Al Hussain or our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

3.2 Limited permissions. You may:

  • Read, share, and link to blog posts and public content on the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Quote short excerpts (up to 200 words) of blog content with proper attribution and a link back to the original
  • Share book promotional graphics that we have publicly distributed for that purpose

3.3 Books and published works. All books, novels, novellas, short stories, and other published works by M. A. A. Hussain are protected by copyright. Purchase of an ebook or paperback grants you a personal, non-transferable license to read the work; it does not transfer any ownership of the underlying intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, scan, photocopy, or share the full text of any book without prior written permission.

3.4 User-generated content. If you submit a comment, review, message, or other content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with operating and promoting the Site and our books. You warrant that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third party’s rights.

4. Comments and User Conduct

If you leave comments on blog posts or otherwise contribute content, you agree that your contributions will:

  • Not be unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, obscene, hateful, or invasive of another’s privacy
  • Not infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property right
  • Not contain unsolicited advertising, spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes
  • Not contain personal or identifying information about other individuals without their consent
  • Be relevant and constructive to the discussion

We reserve the right (but are not obligated) to monitor, edit, refuse, or remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

5. Purchases and Payments

If the Site offers products for direct purchase, all sales are subject to the following:

  • Prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout and are subject to change without notice
  • Payment is processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card information
  • Digital products (ebooks, downloads) are delivered electronically and are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law
  • Physical products (paperbacks, merchandise) may be returned within 14 days of receipt if unused and in original condition; you are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was defective

For books purchased through third-party retailers (Amazon, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, etc.), the retailer’s own terms, refund policies, and dispute processes apply.

6. Newsletter and Communications

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic email communications from us about new book releases, blog posts, and related updates. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing does not affect the lawfulness of communications sent before your unsubscribe took effect.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, retailers, and social media platforms. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of use. Accessing third-party services is at your own risk. Affiliate links (where we earn a small commission on referred sales) are disclosed where applicable.

8. Our Applications and Automation Tools

We operate one private automation application referenced by name in this Site and in our developer registrations:

AI Novelist Auto-Poster. The AI Novelist Auto-Poster is a private, single-user automation tool used by Murshed Abdullah Al Hussain (M. A. A. Hussain) to schedule and publish promotional content about the Shattered Crown trilogy and other published works to social media platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook Pages, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. The AI Novelist Auto-Poster runs locally on the author’s personal computer and processes only the developer’s own social media account credentials and the developer’s own content. The AI Novelist Auto-Poster is NOT a public-facing service. It does NOT offer accounts to Site visitors, does NOT accept input from third parties, does NOT collect personal information from Site visitors, and does NOT provide any user-facing functionality on this Site. References to the AI Novelist Auto-Poster on this Site are descriptive only and do not constitute an offer of service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted operation.

While we strive to ensure the Site operates smoothly and content is accurate, we make no warranty that the Site will be error-free, secure, or available at any particular time or location. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk.

Any information provided in blog posts, books, or other content is for general informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice. You should consult qualified professionals before acting on any information found on the Site.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Murshed Abdullah Al Hussain, Life’s Little Corner, M. A. A. Hussain, or any of our affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any content.

Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid directly to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Murshed Abdullah Al Hussain, Life’s Little Corner, and our agents, employees, and licensors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Site immediately ceases. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive any termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved in the courts located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of these courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Site.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings on the subject.
